Community Initiative
Collaborating for Safer Homes. Stronger Communities.

The Capital Area Hoarding Consortium is a community initiative of Copper Bridge Counseling, PLLC. It is designed to support education, consultation, referral coordination, training, and community collaboration related to hoarding disorder, chronic disorganization, housing stability, and family/community response.
The Consortium is not currently a separate legal entity and does not independently provide clinical, emergency, legal, housing, or medical services. Clinical services are provided only through appropriately licensed professionals or supervised trainees under clearly identified clinical authority.
The Consortium brings together professionals, families, and community partners across several interconnected areas of work.
Community education and professional training on hoarding disorder, chronic disorganization, and evidence-based intervention approaches.
Cross-sector consultation and coordination among service providers, housing professionals, family members, and community stakeholders.
Connecting individuals and families to appropriate clinical, housing, and community resources through a coordinated referral network.
Whether you are a professional, community partner, family member, or someone seeking resources — we welcome your connection.
